ABOUT
Austin Korth is a designer from Eugene, Oregon. Fashion became his earliest language for understanding the world, eventually leading him to study apparel design at Colorado State University and later work in Los Angeles for brands including Pistola Denim and Hudson Jeans. Now based in New York, he is building a.korth, an independent womenswear label shaped by his background in design, product development, and storytelling.
The world of a.korth begins on the Oregon coast. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Austin was surrounded by fog-covered forests, rugged coastline, maritime history, and the folklore that seemed to live between them. Summers spent in Neskowin were filled with shipwreck stories, ghost tales, tide pools, lighthouses, and imagined worlds just beyond the shoreline. That landscape, suspended somewhere between memory and mythology, became the foundation for a.korth’s debut collection, Ghost Stories from the Oregon Coast.
